Ogun criticizes portable

“Portable, an unrepentant miscreant, Ogun criticizes the artist for assaulting officials

Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, is a Nigerian singer whose actions toward State Planning and Development Permit Authority officials have drawn condemnation from the Ogun State Government.

According to reports, the government officials were attacked at his pub, which is situated in the Sango Ota region of the state, close to Iyana Ilogbo.

Portable was described as “a serial dissident and unrepentant rascal who has been in the habit of assaulting government officials without provocation” in a statement signed on Friday by Kayode Akinmade, the Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Information and Strategy.

The most recent assault on government officials who were on their legitimate duty in the region, planned by Portable and his associates, “was unacceptable and barbaric,” according to Akinmade, who also stated that such an offensive act would be dealt with by the current laws of the territory.

He claimed that given the level of chaos and fear he incites whenever he commits such repulsive crimes in the community, the hip-hop artist’s behavior is becoming shameful and intolerable to the local populace and the government.

Accordingly, Akinmade reaffirmed the government’s commitment to upholding the unique Omoluabi ethos values at all times and sanitizing the state against all legal transgressions.

“We are deeply shocked by the offensive and rude behavior of Hip-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, on Wednesday in the Iyana-Ilogbo region of the state where his bar is situated,” he stated.
