On Thursday, Innocent Idibia, better known by his stage name as 2baba, proposed to Natasha Osarawu, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, in a widely shared video.
As friends and well-wishers applauded, the very excited 2baba gave the lawmaker a warm hug, showered her with money, and they danced together before he pulled out a ring to put on her finger. After announcing his divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia, he confirmed his connection with Osarawu.
The singer made an appearance in the Edo State House of Assembly on Monday, despite fans’ persistent speculation on her relationship with the Edo lawmaker.
However, 2baba clarified the situation by declaring his plan to wed Osarawu in the video he uploaded early Wednesday morning.
He added that the conflict in his marriage to Annie is unrelated to his relationship with Osarawu.
“I said what I said,” he said. Everybody will be okay. Honorable Natasha, it appears that she has been dragged and has been referred to by a variety of derogatory names. People have called her a housebreaker. She is a youthful, intelligent, and remarkable woman. She is unrelated to what is going on between Annie and me. However, it appears that everyone is attempting to purportedly involve her in everything. I do love her. I want to marry her because she is cool and amazing.
