Contentious After being released on bail, Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has promised to change his ways.
An Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, granted the Zazu crooner N2 million bail on Thursday after he entered a not-guilty plea to five counts, which include conspiracy, assault, possession of a firearm, and disorderly conduct.
The Ogun State police command had charged Portable with assaulting three Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) personnel.
Following his release on bond, the musician thanked everyone and stated that he would prioritize money above trouble in a social media video.
“Thank God for everything, my fans. “You have everything if you have God,” he declared. “I need cash. I’m done searching for trouble. Making money is now my main priority. My bail debt is N2 million. I require additional funds. I’m trying to find money.
