Does Akwapoly Part-Time Programme Start in the Evening?
Despite the fact that Akwapoly part-time programme was initially scheduled for evening classes which was supposed to commenced by 1pm and stop by 6pm daily.

What is the Cost of the Akwapoly Part-time Screening Form?
Formerly, the Akwapoly Part-time screening form used to be ₦6,000 while the Cyber cafe people charged around ₦2,000 to purchase and process the form for you which accumulated to a total of ₦8,000.
However, the good news is, NOW Akwapoly Part-time form is the same as that of the regular students which is ₦2,000 while the cyber cafe charges from ₦2,000 to ₦3,000 depending on your location, giving it a total of ₦4,000 or ₦5,000 as the case may be.
Which is Preferable? Akwapoly Part-time Programme or Regular Programmes
Actually, I want to say that it depends, this is because both the Akwapoly Part-time students and Regular Students are given the same certificate.
In the certificate, there is no indication of Regular or Part-Time, this simply implies that when you see the certificate of Akwapoly Part-time students and that of Akwapoly Regular Students you will not know which one is which.
Because AKWAPOLY does not indicate in the certificate if the student is a part-time or regular student.
But I will say to stand a chance of getting a JAMB Admission Letter you can go for the Akwapoly Regular Programme. However, apart from that, there is no difference.
Does Akwapoly Part-Time Students Get a JAMB Admission Letter?
The answer is NO, Akwapoly Part-time students do not get JAMB Admission Letter. This is because their admission is given solely by the school and JAMB is not aware of it.
However, do not worry, you can always do JAMB regularization to get your JAMB Admission letter after you have gained admission into the Akwapoly Part-time Programme.
This is the reason, why every Akwapoly Part-time student must do JAMB regularization before they will be issued a JAMB Admission letter.
Jamb regularization is just the process of reapplying to JAMB to update your details on their portal, which costs about ₦5,000. This time you won’t write the JAMB exam again.
It entails your information updates on the JAMB Portal only after which when Akwapoly has confirmed that they gave your admission, JAMB will then issue you a JAMB admission letter.

Formerly, the Akwapoly Part-time Programme usually had three semesters while those of the Regular Programmes had two, that was the reason the Akwapoly Part-time student stayed longer in school.
The good news of that currently, The Akwapoly Part-time progamme now has two semesters which is the same as those of the Regular Programmes making it the same as the Regular.
So, Akwapoly Part-time Students graduate at the same time as the Regular students.
Is there any difference between the Akwapoly Part-Time Students Certificate and the Regular?
As I said earlier, there is no difference between the Akwapoly Part-time Students certificate and those of the Regular students. They are both the same. The write-up on the certificate is the same, the color is the same. So, everything is the same.
Does Akwapoly Part-Time have HND programmes?
No, Akwapoly Part-time does not have Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, they only have National Diploma (ND) programmes.
This simply implies that Akwapoly Part-time does not offer any HND courses for students. If you intend to pursue your HND in Akwapoly then you can only do so in the regular programmes.

Applications are invited from candidates with a minimum jamb score of 120 for admission into the two-year National Diploma Programmers of the Institution.

Five credit passes in SSCE or its equivalent in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and English Language
Five credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, and any other three subjects from Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Economics, Geography, and Government, and a credit pass in English language in not more than two sittings.
Five credit passes in mathematics and any two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Statistics, and Further Mathematics plus any two from Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government and a credit pass in English Language in not more than two sittings.
2. SCHOOL OF BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT
(a) Accountancy
(b) Banking & Finance
(c) Business Administration
(d) Marketing
(e) Office Technology & Management
(f) Public Administration
Five credit passes in SSCE or its equivalent in Mathematics, English Language, plus three credit passes in any of Economics, Business Method, principles of Account, Literature in English, Commerce Government, and one Science subject in not more than two sittings.
Office Technology & Management requires a credit in Mathematics.
3. SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION ART
Mass Communication
Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, and any other two subjects from History, Commerce, Economics Government, Fine Art, Typewriting, and Principles of Accounting.
4. SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
(a)Electrical/ Electronic Engineering Technology
(b) Computer Engineering
(c) Civil Engineering Technology
Five Credit passes in SSCE or its equivalent which must include Mathematics Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and credit in English Language obtained in not more than two sittings.
Or
The National Technical Certificate (NTC) in Electrical Trade with credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, English Language, and two other subjects.
Civil Engineering Technology requires five credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language, and one other subject from Biology/Agric Science, Geography, Economics, Commerce
5. SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates should visit the School website https://www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng, click online Application, and then generate an invoice (RRR Number) with the following details
(i) JAMB Reg Number (ii) Phone number and (iii) Name
Candidates should go to any commercial Bank in Nigeria to purchase an electronic application pin for ₦2,000.00 (Inclusive of Bank and other charges) for the purpose of the screening exercise.
Using the pin, visit https://www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng to fill and submit the application form. Download and print the acknowledgment slip.
Note: Screening exercise shall be done based on a calibrated format devoid of physical contact with candidates.
