ABSTRACTS The determination of sugar concentration in the soft drinks was carried out. The five drinks were labeled S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5 respectively. The soft drinks were analyzed using densitometer and refractometer. The result show that S1 and S4 have the higher percentage of sugar content of 14.092% and 14.052%, while S2 has the least percentage of sugar. ABSTRACT The determination of Macro-element composition in Fiscus carica leaves from Nto Etonne in Essien Udim Local Government Area was carried out using standard analytical methods. The result of the analysis revealed that calcium (Ca) (25.55  0.005mg/100g). sodium (Na) (28.28  0.004mg/100g), potassium (K) (19.26  0.006mg/100g), phosphorus (P) (9.13  0.004mg/100g) and magnesium (Mg) (21.07  0.008mg/100g) respectively. ABSTRACT The determination of the macro-mineral composition of Vernonia amygdalina was carried out using standard procedure. The result of the study revealed the following P (3.33±0.002), Na (2.26±1.26), Ca (3.11±0.004),  Mg (2.14±0.007) and K (7.25±0.006).
