I am Happy to be in the midst of everyone here. For some years now drug abuse have cause a lot of damage in the life of many people both old and young.

Drug abuse refers to the excessive use of drug from non-medical purposes despite social, psychological and physical problems that may occur. Many people has made mistake on how they use drugs.

For instances, the life of many people who have chosen to take hard drugs, some because of trial, temptation etc. they have fallen into a way they cannot help themselves anymore. Taking a bad decision without  knowing that so many have same problems but they still remain strong. Maybe your mate have leave you behind because of sickness, set back etc. that may hold you back, you think you will not make it in life. Always remember the saying “The down fall of a man is not the end of his life” that should always be what we believe, that we can make it anytime, so don’t always  take drug abuse to be the solution to all your problems.

Furthermore, many people have fallen victims of this without knowing that there are effect which are; isolation, stagnation, damaged relationships, financial distress, health problems and depression and mental illness, history of trauma, stress and inability to cope, and low self-esteem. Let us rise up and work hand in hand and believe that we can do all things with Christ that strengthen us. Let us rise to the faith of greatness and conquer anything that can stand as an obstacle in our way of success. Let us always have in mind that we can make it in life no matter what.

Therefore, the following are ways to prevent drug abuse and also how to stop yourself from being a part of it. These includes; understanding how substance abuse develops, avoid temptation and peer pressure, seek help for mental illness, examine every risk factor, deal with life pressure, develop close family ties and the following are the solutions to drug abuse, there are; love and affection as, the child grows consistent and fair discipline, open channels of communication for thoughts and also know that a problem shared is a problem solve.

Always encourage your even when others don’t . Now is the time that we will stand and declare that we are stronger than drug abuse. So let us not allow our family background to keep our backs on the ground, rather let us always believe that with God all things are possible. Many people have taken their lives because of either his/her fiancée got married to another person without his/her knowledge. Don’t be weak, be strong and have hope in God and believe that “every disappointment is a blessing” let us stand up and fight drug abuse and also say a final goodbye to depression, setbacks, low self-esteem and others that my lead to abuse of drugs.
