Indecent dressing is the practice of wearing clothing that is considered inappropriate or offensive by the prevailing standards of modesty and decency. This can range from wearing clothing that is too revealing or too tight, to wearing clothing that is considered to be culturally or religiously inappropriate.

The primary disadvantage of indecent dressing is that it can lead to negative social repercussion. People who dress indecently are often seen as prostitute, unprofessional, immature or even immoral. This can lead to social exclusion and make it difficult to form meaningful relationships with others. It can also lead to feelings of shame and embarrassment, especially if the person is in a professional setting.

Indecent dressing can also lead to legal consequence. In some countries, indecent dressing is punishable by law. This could include fines, jail time, or other forms of punishment. Indecent dressing can lead to increase risk of harassment and even physical assault. Indecent dressing can also lead to heal concerns. Clothing that is too revealing, tight can lead to skin and increased of sunburn or heat exhaustion.

Nowadays on campus when students are refuted, you will hear statement like “only God can judge me” these phrases have become so common that one can’t condemn any wrong doings again because the rewards are usually curses, malice, hatred and condemnation.

No one is saying you shouldn’t look good? No one is saying you shouldn’t dress to be attractive.

Today we see people dressed with the sole aim of looking attractive, tantalizing and sexy instead of dressing in a responsible way such cloths are bum shorts, short blouse, mini skirt/gown, cleavage skirts, sagging of trousers by boys. These dressing patterns are also many with more still coming up. Due to the progressiveness of fashion. For me it is a sign of irresponsibility which can lead to a lot of negative menace.

Decency is not Pride

Looking good is a good business most times people are being addressed by their dressing. I am not talking about expensive wears, infact, those so-called expensive wears looks like rags and are indecent at times.

Appearing neat always is something with doing, dressing decently no matter your gender attracts people to you as well. Gaining admirations most times could be because you are decent. Shallow thinking individuals as well regard such a person as being proud.

Dress well, look good. Take care of your body, be modest and selfless, be decent at all times
