A female student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka, Anambra State, has sparked intense internet reactions following a physical altercation with a lecturer who interrupted her while she was filming a dance video.
Students and social media users had differing opinions about the event, which has since gone viral and allegedly happened on university property.
The young woman appeared to be filming a dance video for TikTok inside a school hall, and the video went viral.
To catch her attention and tell her to stop recording, the lecturer, who had to pass, tapped her on the back.

But things soon got out of hand, and there was a violent altercation during which the student allegedly bit the lecturer several times.
Witnesses say she grew angry, tearing his clothes, slapping him, and scratching his face while the lecturer tried to contain her by grabbing her hands.
Onlookers stared in shock as the student attacked the lecturer, as captured on camera.
She persisted in her attack despite attempts to disperse them, creating chaos on the campus.
According to additional sources, the mother of the student teaches in the institution’s engineering department.
