“Asa Kingdom”  authored by Udoinyang Mbat, is a drama about how a community get slam with minority ethnic group in the essence of helping humanity. This drama, is set in a largely rural community and its made up of three “Acts” actually begins at the dramatis personae where we find the members of each group.

Moreover, in act 1 scene 1 members of Ebom’s family discuss about a particular issue in Asa Kingdom, while there are surrounding a fire set on dry wood, Ebom say that something strange is happening in this kingdom that we will not let it be. Asuma, the royal majesty Asa king is a peacemaker he embrace the Linkusi ethnic group with tow arms open but the people later be against them, so they start to wash their faces with the sweats from their forehead, because if they did not open their door and welcome them, the world will look at them like people without human love, but they regret at last.

In act 1scene 2 Imono, the head, Linkusi ethnic group send for all his cabinet members to gather and also put their heads together. In order to chart a new course for their survival. At the end of the meeting Imono tell the youth president Sam to tell his people that the Linkusi chiefs are seeking for peace and love, and for those that will debunk the counsel of elders will be like a candle in the wind, that the counsel of chiefs are seeking for an immediate pause to hostilities to cover the way for a fruitful discussion with the kingdom leadership. And to Nana to tell the messenger to announce to the people of the community that the elders of Linkusi have spoken; to stop every form of aggressive feelings or behavior toward people of Asa kingdom. Sam the youth leader addresses the youth  as he was order by Imono the Linkusi leader.

Asa kingdom youth commence protesting while matching to the king’s palace and start explaining their feelings to the council of elders that we are suffering today because we embrace them with full arms open and to be our brother keeper and now or kingdom is in great anxiety and confusion, as the youth leader was speaking the king ask  Uto to address them on his behalf he did same and assure them to go as they are going to put their heads in a lasting solution.

Furthermore, Asa kingdom cabinet members meets again to look for a way forward on the  mourning affecting the kingdom. The king addresses the chiefs and said that the cries of people in this community is dripping like water on rocky walls all in the name of neighborliness. He later send for the priest the priest is quickly call in. He enters and beckons.

The king send him on errant to Linkusi community that by 12.00 noon on Asa love day we want to sit with them in the palace with people not less than five.

The people turn up as it was total by the priest, the Asa kingdom members by the right hand side while the Linkusi members seats by the left handside and face each other while the king enter and everyone stand and sit after the king.

The king start by welcoming everyone and later  quit to the main purpose for the meeting by saying that their glowing faces and their body language tells us that we are here for a peace, as they were still discussing they start provoking each other and Imono dismissed the noble meeting without recourse.

The Linkusi youth president mobilize the youth so they start killings, kidnapping so the news gets to the king and the king was in deep sorrow so its calls for them to go to the Alconony the Asa kingdom shrine, He lift up his staff and prays to the Alcony the shrine of their gods to rise up and save their people from their innocent and consume the bitter fruit in their own lust and show no mercy to the wicked till all is well in the kingdom. The king and elders return to their homes in tears.

Consequently, the community is terribly challenge and people from Linkusi went to the palace with pot filled with blood and other one with rotten cassava tubers and the palace is completely overwhelm with foul odour and start sued for peace and beg the king to grant them to leave in peace that we promise to abide henceforth on a good report. And the kings graned them and they are well contented and depart.

Furthermore, things started going well with them, they bring Linkusi rose flower to the palace to grow them with the kingdom floras to engender love and unity and uncommon brotherhood. Later in the day they all go to the Alcony (Shrine) with traditional foods and thank the priceless gods of Asa kingdom that the deal is done. They join and celebrate together then later depart.
