A few kilometers from the city of Enugu, in Ugwu Onyeama, Udi Local Government Area, Enugu State, a petrol tanker exploded on Saturday, killing an unknown number of people.

According to reports, a tanker carrying gasoline exploded on the bustling road at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Witnesses reported that in addition to killing numerous people, the explosion had extremely destructive consequences, destroying numerous surrounding automobiles.
Rescue efforts were reportedly hampered by the fire’s severity.
It is thought that the victims, who were completely burned, were passengers in the cars that were caught in the fire.
